When The Easy Vegan came to Houndstooth, they had a common small business story: they had an existing brand that suited where they started, but had outgrown it after a few years of business. After getting to know themselves and their demographic—and after a notable 1st place win on season 16 of The Food Network's Great Food Truck Race—they were in need of a sizable rebrand. They already had a deeply loyal fanbase who knew them as the funny and innovative pop-up kitchen at the local farmer's markets or at their coursed fine dining experiences. Our goal was to create a brand that could arrive buttoned up on a Friday evening and in jeans and a t-shirt on a Saturday afternoon at City Park.
