Like a group craft night meets Secret Santa (but also way better).
The project was simple: artists submitted an art prompt and received someone else’s. What did they get? “A royal bullfrog,” “Your first queer awakening,” “Something that reminds you of home” ? Who knows! Who cares?! In a disconnected world, we gathered to create something cool, and connect with other artists around the world. In the following post, you'll find our first collection of participants' work in mediums from digital art and collage to metal-smithing and stained glass.

"The Childless Cat Lady
Behold! The elusive Childless Cat Lady! Upon first glance, this creature appears to look just like any other lady. It dresses like a lady, poses like a lady, and speaks of topics like a lady. However, upon further discussion with one of these entities, one will come to find that the creature, which looks so much like an ordinary woman, is not ordinary at all.
These creatures possess no children, which might not seem out of the ordinary at first, as not all women are yet married or able to produce offspring, but upon further digging, one will find that these particular creatures possess no desire for them either.
You may see these creatures out in the wild, going about their business like any other lady. You might find them shopping, driving, or even... voting! Yes, these creatures have even been able to fool elected officials into giving them their full rights and privileges!
Watch out! There's bound to be a childless cat lady or two lurking around your community, just waiting to tell your children they don't have to have children if they don't want to..."

"I plan on incorporating my prompt "Joy to the World!" As a Charlotte's Web gingerbread house. With a message from Charlotte for Wilbur's sake. Charlotte used her empathy, kindness, skills and creativity to help Wilbur who could realistically not do much for her. Charlotte was small, and maybe her life could be considered insignificant to some. And yet, her "small acts of kindness" saved Wilbur's life. Think back to a time someone offered you a little relief. It felt like everything. In embodying traits like Charlotte our hearts begin to expand. Our tolerance for mistakes widens, and our patience for others becomes compassion towards ourselves. Even though Charlotte was tiny, she reminds us that it is in the small everyday acts of kindness that create big change. In our thoughtful actions we can all be a joy to the world."
